Arsenal
team
history
Arsenal joined the Football League in 1893 and achieved success under manager Herbert Chapman in the 1930s, winning five league titles and two FA Cups. Chapman revolutionized the game with tactical innovations and professional approaches to management.
After World War II, Arsenal added more league titles and FA Cups, becoming a dominant force in English football. In the 1970-71 season, they achieved their first League and FA Cup double. Under Arsène Wenger (1996-2018), Arsenal enjoyed unprecedented success, winning three Premier League titles, including the unbeaten Invincibles season in 2003-04, and seven FA Cups. Wenger introduced modern training methods and attractive, attacking football.
Arsenal moved to the Emirates Stadium in 2006, signaling a new era. The club continues to be a significant force in English football, with a rich history of success and a global fanbase.
